Warning, you might fall in love!

Our two-night family getaway was delightful! The friendly staff made check-in smooth, and the breakfast was satisfying. Conveniently located near Colonial Williamsburg and eateries, it offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The room, though a bit dated, was comfortable enough to recharge for our adventures!

Our stay was quite pleasant, thanks to the cozy setup in our room where we enjoyed a movie night and the convenience of having coffee available all-day. The outdoor pool and patio seating were fantastic spots to unwind and soak up the sun. While the bathroom fixtures were a bit dated, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort and cleanliness of the stay. 😊

fantastic stay close to historic attractions and great food

I had a great experience staying here, with a spotless room that really helped my allergies and a staff that was friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. it was also easy to stroll over to historic hotspots like the Governor's Palace and enjoy the lovely park views at Quarterpath Park, just a short walk away.

If you’re a culinary explorer, don’t miss South of The Border Mexican just down the road—it's a gem! Plus, the front desk staff was warm, making me feel right at home. The room itself was surprisingly cozy, almost like Holiday Inn vibes.

However, I was disappointed to find the swimming pool under maintenance during my stay, only reopening the day I checked out. The towels were shabby, resembling leftovers from a damp laundry basket, and I couldn't shake the feeling that the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The ice machine was out of order, and the decor felt outdated—definitely not up to par with what you might expect for a comfortable stay.

the red roof inn has a great location, really close to everything we planned to attend. the bed was super comfortable, which made our stay enjoyable. the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. we loved that it's pet-friendly, as we brought our furry friend along!

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff!

I had a pleasant experience during my three-night stay, largely due to the warm hospitality of the staff. They were always ready to help. The location is a huge plus – close to local dining options and attractions. Try the nearby restaurant for delicious local cuisine!

We had a fantastic time visiting the local mini golf at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, perfect for our kids! The room was cozy and had a fridge for snacks, making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, which made us feel right at home.

My kids wished there were some fun activities for them on-site.

The room was not clean, with leftover soap and a clogged drain. Maintenance was slow to respond to the broken toilet. Overall, it felt more like a run-down place than a hotel.
